The small hourglass sculpture is another part of Anish Kapoor's Non-Object series, and was fabricated in much the same way as the large hourglass in Jerusalem. Nearly 8 feet in height, fabrication of the sculpture required the development of new tools and methods to achieve the special visual effects desired by the artist.
